Open For Entries: July 7. Closing Date: August 5 (jumper rounds can be entered on the day)
This low key competition is a great introduction for both horses and riders. Adventurer classes consist of a dressage test and a leisurely ride around the field or jump ring with optional ground poles, assistance is allowed in "jumping" phases (i.e. lead, coaching). It is a ONE DAY competition in which all MT riders will do cross country shortly after show jumping. All entries must be sent by mail or email before the closing date - details below, changes and withdrawals after the close date will incur a $30 fee, no changes will be accepted on the show day. Riders must check in upon arrival to receive their number. Ride times will be posted on StartBox the week before the show. Scratches after closing will not receive a refund, prior to closing refund less $35.
Rules: We will follow all USEA/USEF rules. ASTM/SEI helmets must be worn at all times while mounted. Riders must wear a medical armband while jumping, and provide their own pinney, vests must be worn for all XC excluding Adventurer.
Stabling (limited quantity) $50, stalls MUST be stripped by end of show day. Stabling requests must be submitted for each horse on their entry, or contact the secretary, off-site stabling is also available, please contact the Secretary for more details.
Schooling offered post-show (weather permitting) $25 competitors and MVEA members, $50 all others. Free schooling with approved hours of volunteering, please contact the secretary to cash in volunteering hours.
